The Clean and Cure Sealant is a waterborne, easily processable sealant based on Silicon dioxide (SiO₂), the active ingredient in our hydro coatings.
This sealant can be used as a light cleaner and as a protective water and dirt-repellent layer. It is designed to remove dried water stains and very light soiling and provides a protective layer on the paint of the bicycle.
If the Clean and Cure Sealant is used over our Hydro Coating, it will considerably extend the life of the Hydro Coating. (Up to and including 1 year!)
The Clean and Cure Sealant can also be used as “stand alone” paint protection. The service life of this sealant is approximately 2 months and can also be used on both matt and glossy frames and parts.
Clean and Cure Sealant is extremely economical to use.

Directions for use on a dirty bicycle: Spray the Clean and Cure Sealant sparingly over the surfaces to be treated and let it dry for a few minutes. Remove the sealant with a clean microfibre cloth and then rub the frame with a clean microfibre cloth.
Instructions for use on a clean bicycle: Apply the Clean and Cure Sealant sparingly and rub after a few minutes. It can be used both with matt lacquers and high gloss.
Example of cleaning with the sealant: After a dry ride on the road bike, there is some dust around the forks and wheels, which can now be removed very easily without affecting the coating and not having to wash the entire bike!
